I get lost in this scene every time I look at , this painting is 19th century and most likely by a French artist. 

This landscape is near to the border or France and Switzerland, the lovely French man I bought it from has had it for 40 years and was his grandfathers painting before him. 

It has some signs of age and the frame is original to the canvas.
